Proprietor of Lagos based amateur league side, Arthur Onyeka has declared that he is not one of those celebrating the return of Osaze Odemwingie to the Eagles.
Onyeka told Daily Sunsports that Eagles manager Stephen Keshi should have stuck to the players that secured the World Cup ticket for the country instead of recalling Osaze. “Osaze’s invitation is not good for the team. Instead of recalling osaze, Keshi should have kept faith with Brown Ideye who worked hard for the team during the qualifiers. Again it doesn’t make sense for Keshi to pardon Osaze and refuse to extend the same gesture to Ike Uche. The truth is that Uche is as hot as Osaze on current form, so why call up one and leave out the other,” Onyeka queried. Onyeka, who is into shipping said he sees the Eagles doing well in Brazil if Keshi puts his house in order and manages the team well. “Once the coach takes the right decision and go to Brazil with a team that is united, we will do well. It is not beyond the Eagles to reach the last four of the World Cup,” he said.
