…Over final squad
Palpable anxiety has gripped the Super Eagles camp in Philadelphia, Florida in the United States of America as the hour draws near for Coach Stephen Keshi’s final 23-man squad.
The list which is billed to be released by the Nigerian gaffer today to beat the June 2, 2014 FIFA deadline according to the team’s media officer, Ben Alaiya had left the players wondering who would make the final cut.

Though, some of the key players already know they are bound for Brazil, they also worry for those that would be dropped today as they prepare to face Greece on Tuesday.
Speaking from the team’s camp, Alaiya said Keshi would have loved to take all the players to Brazil but had no choice to drop seven players than meet the required number.
“I won’t tell you there’s no tension among the players. Some of them already know that they are going home but still you can understand what is going through their minds.
“Left to Keshi, he would have loved to take all the players to Brazil but there are regulations that must be followed. He has told the players that they are all good, but not everyone would be in Brazil for the World Cup.”
Nigeria will play two more friendlies against Greece and the United States as part of warm-up for this year’s World Cup.
The African Champions will play Greece in Philadelphia at 12 midnight tomorrow, then face USA in Jacksonville, Florida on Saturday.
The fixtures form part of Major League Soccer’s “Road to Brazil event.
